The Samsung Galaxy J7(2017) will be released later this year, but some information has already been leaked. As the 2016 model was launched in April, it’s likely that the 2017 model will be launched in April of this year.
The leaked information suggests that the Samsung Galaxy J7 will have a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display. It will also have an increase in resolution compared to the previous model.
The leaked renders of the J7 seem to suggest that there will be a 3.5 mm headphone port, a micro USB port and that the home button and side mounted speaker are still present.
It has been Bluetooth certified by the Bluetooth SIG, and has its WIFI certification. The same model number has been seen on Zauba, suggesting that the price will stay in the midrange market at just over $200.
In terms of rumored specifications, there are some that haven’t been verified yet. It may have an octacore Exymos chipset, 16GB built in storage which can be expanded with a MicroSD card, 3GB RAM, 13 Megapixel main camera, 5 MP forward facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery. It may use Android 7.0 Nougat as its out of the box operating system. It reportedly measures 151.34 x 76.20 x 8 mm.
